As a product designer at Deloitte, I consulted and designed for Fortune 500 companies and most forward thinking organizations across industries such as, automotive, cannabis, banking and the Canadian Government.

After a short detour in business school, I followed my passion into Design at York University. While there, I spent my time designing, coding, prototyping, attending hackathons and nerding out pretty hard.

As a product designer, I have learned how to present ideas to stakeholders, as well as listen for insights to further enhance my designs. Getting people to open up about their feelings towards a product or an idea can be difficult. But it can be done by simply asking the right open ended questions.

Born in Pakistan. Raised in Canada.

My family originally immigrated to Canada in 2001. Our immigrating flight was on September 11, 2001. Otherwise known as 9/11. Since all flights were grounded that day, our immigrating flight got moved to October 2, 2001. Ever since then, my family and I have been living in this beautiful country.

My life outside of work is pretty much based around CrossFit, hiking through trails, spending time with my family and friends and most importantly, my nieces and nephews. I have 5 of them and according to my sister-in-law, it’s great “to be dad practice”. However, I am not sure if I personally disagree with that.
